once 117HD came to osrs I just felt there was almost nothing that RS3 could offer me that Osrs could not do better. maybe except for more afk skills that appeals to me, but is not a deal breaker. if RS3 pvp was very active I prob give it a try, but doubt ill ever play rs3 again is just a skiller game, honestly I think is good if thats all you want to do skill and PvE. I like to PvE and skill a bit, but primarily PvP at this stage, before I pve primarily.

You need to take advantage of your revolution bar. Add conjures to them so that they are summoned as soon as they disappear and so that they are automatically commanded. All that you would have to do after that is use volley of souls when you have 3, use finger of death when you have preferably 6 necrosis stacks. Also you can customize the revo bar so that it only automatically activates the first 5 abilities let's say instead of your entire bar like you have it now. That way you can move the rest of your abilities up to the main bar without having to worry of them automatically activating.

Get an Antient Elven Ritual Shard for the fight cave.

It was really hard to hold my tongue seeing a lot of the classic mistakes new players make repeated in a lot of your earlier videos, but I knew that once I'd caught up to your most recent upload, you'd have already figured out most of the things that were causing you trouble earlier, so for the most part, I simply dropped likes on those vids on my way out without commenting much. That being said, here's an unnecessarily in-depth analysis of this most current upload: Although the tank armor has a few use cases, the power armor is pretty much objectively better. If you need any help killing the bosses required for t80 or t90 power, or have any questions about anything else, please DM me in-game: II Sithis II There is a defensive ability called Devotion that would have come in handy, especially around 27:10 and in the later phases. It makes it so your prayers are 100% effective for a short duration. This is unlocked by killing mobs or bosses in the God Wars Dungeon (Bandos and Armadyl affiliates only). The mistake at 32:39 is completely relatable. Spectral Scythe is kind of just a weird ability. It's mainly only used for area of effect over multiple mobs. Finger of Death and volley of souls are going to make up the majority of your damage until you can upgrade the fire cape later. In a similar vein, blood siphon is also never worth using on a single target. Don't be afraid to take full advantage of your revolution bar. If you put the skeleton in the beginning, you will be assuring yourself that one is always summoned when possible, and this doesn't cost adrenaline. The basic necromancy attack will always use itself regardless of whether or not it's on your bar. If it's there at all, it should probably be out of the way of abilities which actually provide useful currencies (Soul Sap and Touch of Death) so that it has lower priority and doesn't interfere with them. Unfortunately, the fight caves on RS3 don't really carry the same prestige as their OSRS counterpart. The fire cape is only ever used for Ice Strykewyrms (a very uncommon slayer task that most people don't even bother doing) or as an interim step toward the Kiln, and later, Zuk. For that reason, you don't really need to get the fire cape until well after you have access to curses and higher-tier armor, at which point it will be completely trivialized. Struggling unnecessarily at lower levels, while admirable, is not going to be adequately rewarding. However, there's a reward item you can get from the quest "The Elder Kiln" called the Tokkul-Zo which greatly increases your damage, here. As others have already suggested, the ending will be a lot smoother if you have prayers set to specific keybinds that you're able to memorize instead of clicking. The Jad attacks don't work exactly like they do on OSRS. The damage is basically always calculated when you see the animation hit you.

Put ur ghost and skeleton on the revo bar so you don’t have to click everytime in the middle of a fight and use your death guard special as well for big hits

Theres also sometihng that might help (plus every other suggestion that everyones saying): Auras in RS3 are pretty handy. Theres one in particular: Vampyrism aura. It heals you a bit for every damage you do.

You should work towards ancient curses, far better than the regular prayers

Sorry I didn't realize this series has already rocketed to 8 videos. I'll try to catch up. Silverhawk boots' XP drops scale to your agility level, so it's not the best idea to use them on a brand new account.

Gotta get used to some basic keybinds. Mouse is for movement, keys are for prayers and food. The Constitution abilities tab has the Eat Food ability you can bind to, say, q, then prot prayers on wer, to help get used to basic keyboard ability usage. Can also drag and drop pots to the bar to bind them as well. GL on round 2, you got this!

55:42 You prayed *magic* against the *ranged* attack. It's still stomp = ranged, hind legs = magic. Looks like it's still similar to osrs in that it does the animation, then afterwards when the missile is moving towards you is when the actual hit registers. The main thing is you completely ignored the healers. The AOE soul attack that costs 1 soul, threads of fate, or the bouncing skull ultimate would probably take care of those healers pretty easily.

Just returning to RS3 since not having played from when EOC happened. What lvl is your necro for this run? Has me intrigued to try this

You can use your Resonance to get some free heals. Also look into darkness, itll give you the chance to avoid taking a hit and is only 10 levels away.

Welcome to the good version of the game. Btw, the reason why you're struggling at 36:06 is bc you're wearing melee armor with a magic weapon. That reduces your accuracy to nothing

Add protection prayers to keybind and also add the conjures to revo bar, or at least lock your ability bar so you don't accidentally drag anything instead of click which is what happened at the end when you tried swapping prayers

Something about these "trying rs3" videos is that they are always early game. Obviously it would take a long time and dedication to get to the bossing and new elite skilling and such, but it's really where the game is at it's best. They don't bother updating the early game, so no one ever gets a great first impression unfortunately.

I started Osrs a month ago with my completely maxed main with several billions of gold in Rs3. (same rsn) I always loved the time before eoc. However, when eoc came out I didn't stop playing. Rs3 has become a really good game for me. Osrs is now nostalgia and reliving childhood for me. What I always notice in osrs are the activities that I hated back then and still don't like now. But it's so annoying and nostalgic that you do it and still somehow love it. Just one example is agility. In Rs3 I'm close to 200m XP, and I don't think I've ever done a course before. (lamps, silverhawks) Now it really hurts to tear agility. Just like before. Still, you do it, no matter how much it hurts. There's a grind in every meter you walk, and that's what not only makes osrs old for me, but also makes Runescape special again. I've now had almost 20 days of pure playing time in 30 days. I play osrs like I used to as a child. The only difference is that the osrs account is now an Ironman. A completely new experience for me worth continuing to play. Rs3 hasn't died for me. There are over 20 years of playing time in it... But I think my heart will be with osrs for a very long time.

Personally, I play both, depending on what kind of gameplay I want, like for modern gameplay; RS3, or nostalgic gameplay; OSRS.

I have played RS3 once, I made up to around 50 mining/smithing/atk/def/str. Basically Max F2P gear. Went on GE to sell Adamant pickaxe, I put it -20% of its value, and it took 48h to sell. I realized that game is dead and there is no reason to continue.

Rs3 is simply way more fun. I wish more people played its much better imo.

I believe alot of the hate people have, is for a version of the game that doesn't exist anymore. Theyve changed rs3 so much over the last 10 years, and alot of people just have what they remember.

the basic UI they set you up with is absolute trash. it shouldnt be this way but i suggest watching a UI set up guide.
